Lumalive is an outgoing, loud pixie. No matter how dark there is, she always looks like she's lit up. She has sunburnt skin and short hair going in all directions. Her hair is blonde and looks like light beams. Lumalive is super self-confident, and a total diva.

History:
Chiffon grew up in an ordinary family on Linphea with her parents Jackquard and Gerbera, two older brothers (Charvet and Challis) and a younger sister (Chenille). Both her parents are busy with managing the family's natural fabric recycling factory, which means that Chiff and her siblings had a very little contact to them throughout her childhood. Instead, the bond to her siblings in really tight and often it's the only place she feels truly comfortable. Already early in her childhood Chiffon showed her passion to fabrics and cloths. She could sit for hours concentrated on trying to design something or combine different cloth pieces.

When she was about 10 years old the first signs of her magic appeared. At this age she easily could create small wonders with a piece of fabric, and her powers began to be more and more visible during the next years. At the age of 16 she got a letter from Alfea and attended the famous school for fairies in Magix. However this was a tough experience for Chiffon who always has been a quiet, shy girl. Her brother Challis, a red fountain student, convinced her to attend Alfea. Or well, it was more of a dare.

Chiffon's natural fashion sense has always been the quality that hasn't made her unpopular. And on Alfea it was like that as well. Chiffon quickly got very popular because of her sense of style, but she never wished for this popularity. She'd rather work in silence on her next project. After some time in the magical school she found some good friends among the girls there, and slowly got used to the atmosphere.

Personality:
It's not because Chiffon is arrogant that she might not talk to you. Even though she is quite popular, she's a very shy and hesitant girl who often doubts in herself. She rarely speaks and it takes a long time to feel comfortable in a new place. However she knows what she's good at and she's very hardworking. She's not super studious though.

Chiffons biggest hobby is to design and sew outfits. Her room is full of mannequins and some of her dorm makes claim that it's creepy to enter at night because of all the mannequins and there are sketches all over her floor. Chiffon is a super messy girl, so her part of the room always looks bombarded. However, she can always find her stuff.
She won't ever complete a design before she's 100% satisfied with it. If it has the smallest flaw, according to her, she's going to redesign or re-sew it. This has often caused her nearly sleepless nights, but when she came to Alfea she had to give up working at night because of she now wasn't alone in her room.

Shopping is not an activity Chiffon enjoys. All her outfits are handmade, and the only things she shops for are shoes and sewing supplies.
Chiffon is addicted to coffee due to all the hours she spends on her creations.  

Chiffon has a tendency to blush strongly when a hot guy walks by, whether she has a crush on him or not.

Appearance:
Chiffon has sunkissed pink skin and shale hair with caramel "highlights". She has bangs and her hair is straight and layered. It reaches her waist. Chiffons eyes are almond shaped (like Flora's) and their colour is amethyst. She has a quite round and friendly face and a small button-nose.

Her way of clothing is light and elegant. She enjoys jeans and shirts with frills. Often she doesn't think about how she dresses, it comes to her naturally. She dislikes clothes that are too tight or to exposing and prefers high-quality, light, soft fabrics such as chiffon and cashmere. She can't stand synthetic fabrics.

Earned By: Once Chiffon had to present a big project in front of many people. As the shy girl she is, she disliked it very much and she even forgot what she had to say in the middle of it all. However she continued and earned her charmix that way.

Spells:

Magic Winx:
• Fabrication -Summoning of a piece of fabric.

• Nature prints -By using a white piece of cloth, she can, by holding it above a natural element, like a water surface, get the exact same print on the cloth. This is very useful in everyday sewing, and for camouflage.

• Thread Spin -Chiffon spins around her opponent twice and tangles them into some thin, but steady thread. When she pulls her end of the thread it makes her opponent spin like crazy.

• Matador -A bright red piece of fabric that is used to attract monsters and lead them into a possible trap.

• Steel Shield -A piece of flowy fabric, with the ability to become steel-hard, when being under attack.

• Fine as Silk -Makes surfaces silk-smooth so they are impossible to grab.

• Neverending Lace Magical lace threads, can be used for nearly anything, like making bridges, or tangle opponents up in.

Charmix:
• Pins and Needles  -Causes pain or numbness. For this spell she uses the needles in her charmix sewing cushion.

• Fibre Metamorphosis -By placing her brooch on a piece of fabric, she can change the type of fabric, e.g. change cotton into silk or opposite.

Enchantix:
• Touch of Silk -Makes interference with objects undetectable. Like if she had to go through someone's desk, if she cast that first, everything naturally falls back right where it came from and no fingerprints are left. For this spell she uses her Enchantix gloves.

• Gift Wrap Mummie -A long, broad ribbon used to wrap around her opponent, so they/it looks like a mummie. She ties it with a bow at the top.

• Healing Bandage -Summons a long, thin piece of white fabric with healing abilities. It can for example stop bleeding or rinse a scar.

• Magical Stitches -A more advanced version of "sewing hands" (see below). This is a healing spell, she can, like a doctor, by the use of this spell, sew a deep scar together. The stiches are made of a silver thread, and a few hours after the use of the spell, the scar is completely gone, as if it never was there and the skin in the area is soft as silk. The silver thread used for this spell is made of very concentrated fairy dust, and it will take a while for the fairy dust to be regenerated.

• Blinding Mirrors -By using the mirrors on her enchantix wings and putting her wings in the correct position, she can reflect the light and blind someone.

• Needle Missiles -Needles of magical energy, Chiffon uses to throw after her opponent, often to pin them to a wall or something like that.

• Pillow Fight -Chiffon summons magical pillows that can be used to slap her opponent, to protect herself or to get a comfortable landing.

• Lace Cover -Makes a transparent shield-bubble with lace patterns on top.


Believix:
• Mirror of Beauty -Her main believix spell, it makes her able to make people believe in magic and see their own beauty.

• Cape of Courage -Creates a bright red fabric that has many uses and can give someone a bit of bravery if it's put on them.

• Flying Carpet -A piece of fabric, she uses to kind of skate-board through the air or transport things on.

• Discos Button-A huge button, that can be used as a discos to either hit something or if it hits a magical beam, it will reflect it back.

• Needle Hedgehog -When being attacked by a monster, Chiffon can hide under a huge piece of fabric with needles on it's outer side, like a hedgehog. This piece of fabric will modify itself to suit Chiffon's figure.

• Wavy Ground -Makes the ground below her opponent soft and wavy, like they would be standin on a piece of cloth with no proper ground beneath

Sophix:
• Spirit of Creativity –This is Chiffon's "main" sophix spell, with it, she's able to reach people's minds and make them think different. This spell also can be used on various elements found in the nature, such as huge leaves. I think Chiffon would be able to make a huge fashion dress with only leaves. This spell has many unknown uses.

• Polyester Vines -This spell creates long ropes made of fabric. They can have a lot of different uses, they can be used to swing from tree to tree, or to tie something up.

• Power of Cotton -Another powerful spell Chiffon gains with her Sophix, it makes her able to manipulate cotton and other plants used for fabric production. She can't do much with these plants, but she still finds the spell useful.

Lovix:
• Sea of Fur -Creates something that looks like a huge carpet, but made of fur. Those fur pieces seem to be alive and reach out for the persons above it, who are ought to be Chiffon's opponent. It works a bit like quicksand, but the fur ties up the person, not drowns it.

• Cloth of Ice -A very thin fabric of ice, can be used as shield or to put around an opponent and make them freeze.


Other:
• Sewing Hands -This is a spell Chiffon discovered on her 3rd year of Alfea. By using her index finger she can sew two pieces of together like on a sewing machine. This spell is not only useful for everyday sewing, but also in the wilderness when e.g. having to set up a tent etc. However Chiffon prefers the traditional way with a sewing machine. She only uses this when she has to sew in places a sewing machine can't reach or when very needed.

Room mate at Alfea: Primavere. Prima is another reason for why Chiffon started to get more sleep once she enrolled Alfea.

Best Friends:
May fairy of oxygen owned by DolceSogno. May is a total diva, and along with Chiffon they have plans to start a fashion line after graduating Alfea. Chiffon often uses her as a model, which she loves. They met each other by both being in Anne's clique (Anne is another character of DolceSogno's), but May was too much a diva to be controlled by Anne and Chiff was too shy to say she didn't like it. May often tries to get Chiffon to socialize more.

Primavere fairy of dreams owned by Charming--Primrose. Prima and Chiffon share a lot of the same fashion taste, so Chiffon, being insecure, always asks Prima for opinions on her newest creations. Chiffon is used to spend her nights working on new clothes, but Prima put and end to that and helped Chiffon sleep earlier, which she's grateful for, because then she has more energy during the day. Since Chiffon isn't a huge book-shark, Prima often helps her with homework too.

Izzy, fairy of wilderness owned by DolceSogno. According to Izzy, Chiffon is a super fancy girl, but since they both are from Linphea, they love talking walks in the forest together. Izzy is a real hippie, which Chiffon approves.

Neveira fairy of frost owned by LeLocoKoko. Both Neveira and Chiffon are shy girls, so it took them a long time to become friends, but once they became friends, they both were very loyal to each other. Their friendship is the "I got your back" type, and Nevie would love to show Chiffon her planet.

Amina fairy of defence, owned by XxAmaranth88xX. Amina often helps Chiffon with her outfits, as Amina is a super stylish girl, and therefore sometimes see things Chiffon doesn't see. They met each other when Chiffon was working on a creation and Amina walked right up to her and moved a piece of fabric on Chiffon's mannequin going: "There, this looks better".

Ayria fairy of glass crystals, owned by CuteKalina. Ayria and Chiffon both enjoy each other's company, because their personalities are very alike, both are shy and love clothes.

Cara fairy of freshness owned by Silencelabyrinth. Cara can be a tough girl, which is often what Chiffon needs, someone to kick her in the butt when she's too shy to do something. At the same time, the girls enjoy each other's company, because of that there's no falseness to it. Cara often seems like Chiffon's "bodyguard".
